Mechanic on Duty was established in 2009 and reopened in January 2015 at the current location in Newmarket, Ontario. Our reopening was joined by local guests which included MP Lois Brown, MPP representation Rohit Singh and Ward Councillor Tom Vegh.

Mechanic on Duty is owned and operated by Mohan Singh. Mechanic on Duty is registered and recognized by the Ministry of Transportation. A licensed auto mechanic with over 30 years in the industry. His experience includes many years with Ford, Honda, Toyota and Nissan. Mohan's lifelong dream has been to own and operate his own mechanic shop, where he can personalize his services to customers while building strong and long-term relationships.
